I’m not good at watching videos online; participating in a workshop is quite different.
I feel compelled to improve but I don’t know the best approach in food. I like to take good pictures where everything looks appetizing and clean. But there are so many more elements to consider.
Up until now, I’ve been pretty much ignoring backgrounds and props.
But today, I got a better idea on what should be around the food when we photograph it. I learned for example how to implement dish towels in my set up.
The workshop helped me to operate my camera better
I also liked to learn about colours and cropping, but that was the most important. It was such a big help. I get so frustrated when I misinterpret the camera. And I’ve learned other things such as the best lenses to shoot food or the essentials to have in my photo bag when travelling.
I surely recommend the workshop. It’s great for food bloggers and I enjoyed being part of it.
